"Bio Should Sack Sovula Now" CSO.

Citizen's Forum 4 Democratic Accountability, a Civil Society Organization that operates in Sierra Leone and help promote democracy and accountability, has in a press statement released on Tuesday, 21st June 2022, called on the President, His Excellency Julius Maada Bio "to exercise his constitutional powers to sanitize the police by asking the Inspector General of Police, Ambrose Michael Sovula for his immediate resignation or dismissal as Inspector General of Police."

The Civil Society Organization sighted several reasons as to why the IG of Police should be sacked or resign, among them are the "spate of human rights abuse in the country by the Sierra Leone Police, the question of incompetence, fake degree saga, where he has outlived his usefulness and exceeded his age bracket required by law..." the release stated.

"If Mr. Ambrose Michael Sovula continue holding the enviable office, there is the likelihood that his uncontrolled disposition will impugn the progress made over the years in the democratization process and maintenance of peace and security, which is germane to the people of the country, since the scars and agonies of the civil war are still in reminiscence."

    Let him go he’s not competent for the job.
    His allegiance to political party is more than the country interest
