C.R.P.Y.A & PAN SL SET TO STAGE THE FIRST-EVER NATIONAL PEACE MARATHON ON SATURDAY The Center for Research Youth and Peace Affairs (C.R.P.Y.A) in collaboration with the Patriotic Advocacy Network, Sierra Leone (PAN SL) is set to stage the first-ever National Peace Marathon on the theme: of “Run for Peace”. The marathon is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 1st October 2022, from Bus Halt, Brookfields - to - Kallon Car Park, at Aberdeen Beach, Freetown exactly at 7:00 am. Prezzo Abdul Kpaka, the Executive Director of C.R.P.Y.A said that the rationale behind the National Peace Marathon is to create an innovative way of bringing young people, citizens, stakeholders of Sierra Leone, and the international community together for a peace-oriented event and to reach out to many people as possible-including schools, universities, communities, youth-led organizations, and political parties with peace and nation-building messages.
